chillaxe, born in 1997 in South Africa, is a music producer and a rising singer-songwriter known for his artistic flair and creative energy. he has produced for artists like Bolly and ZENBØ, and is recognized for his distinctive style. With a keen eye for detail, chillaxe masterfully layers simple elements to create a rich auditory experience, while also delivering a sound that is visually dynamic and full of intensity.

Q : favorite music artists？

A : "I enjoy a lot of different music styles, from Kaytranada to Travis Scott to D'Angelo. some music feels familiar, so I connect with it, while other tracks are more novel to me, making me think, 'wow, that's really creative!'"


Q : how would you describe your music style？

A : Pop, R&B, and electronic music... those should be it! (laughs)

Q : what are your three favorite songs?？

A : Kings of Convenience's "Cayman Islands," Brent Faiyaz's "Rehab" (I really like the whole album), and recently I've been enjoying Ayra Starr's "Commas" because it reminds me of my hometown (South Africa)!


Q : recommend one of your songs to new listeners？

A : lonely road.


Q : what do you think sets you apart from others?

A : very emotional... maybe? I don't know because I think everyone is unique in their own way, but the people around me say my music has a strong atmospheric quality.


Q : you've been less visible in the spotlight recently; what have you been busy with that you'd like to share with your audience?

A : I’m living life to the fullest and working on my next project! I’m putting a lot of effort into blanc. and want to bring a cool vibe to everyone!
