how to use

a. digital gift card delivery 
once your order for a gift card is successfully placed, either you or the recipient (depending on whether it's for gifting or personal use) will receive a digital gift card with a unique code. to redeem the card’s value, enter the code in the designated field at checkout. (the gift card code is not case-sensitive. the option to add a gift card as a payment method will only appear at checkout if a valid gift card is available.)

b. redeeming the gift card 
when redeeming a gift card at checkout, one of the following will occur:
1. if the gift card balance equals or exceeds the order total, simply click "complete order" to finish the purchase.
2. if the gift card balance is less than the order total, you will be prompted to choose an additional payment method to cover the difference before placing the order. you may also add another gift card.

c. checking gift card balance 
the gift card balance will be updated automatically, and you can check it in the confirmation email that includes the gift card details.

1. as long as there is a balance on the gift card, it can be used for multiple orders.  
2. the gift card balance will be applied to the total order amount, including shipping fees.  
3. gift cards can be used in conjunction with discount codes.  
4. you can use multiple gift cards for a single order.  
5. gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

when purchasing a gift card, you may receive two different types of notifications:  


[new gift card] 
this notification is sent to the recipient of the gift card in the following cases:  
- you purchase a gift card for yourself without filling out the recipient information form.  
- a gift card is purchased as a gift for someone.  

[gift card receipt] 
this notification is sent to confirm the gift card has been sent to the recipient when you complete the recipient information form during the purchase process.

note1: double points on gift card purchases! both the gift giver and the recipient can earn points under the membership accumulation rules. the gift giver earns points based on the gift card amount, while the recipient earns points when using the gift card for a purchase. if you buy it for yourself, you get double the points! if you're gifting, you can accumulate points too!

note2: gift cards do not count towards shipping fee calculations.
